Required skills: At least two (2) years field experience with Cisco voice technologies and at minimum CCNP certification, CCVP is a Plus, CCIE preferred. Ability to configure and maintain VPN tunnels using Cisco IOS Knowledge of Cisco VoIP products Expert knowledge of and ability with TCP/IP Competent in Microsoft Windows networking, including DNS and DHCP configuration, and Active Directory integration (as relates to networking) Must work well within a team Must have good interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills Strong problem solving/analytical abilities Demonstrable commitment to quality customer service Candidate must be willing to work in a fast paced environment, able to adapt to frequent change, and be able to work a flexible schedule. Ability to work independently as well as willing to follow direction, and comply with advanced networking best practices.
Job description:
Computopia is a NE Regional reseller with our main office in Warwick RI. We specialize in helping small and medium businesses integrate technology. Primary area's of specialization are Cisco network infrastructure including routers, switches and firewalls. Microsoft active directory, Email, and general office automation. We also have a strong and growing Cisco voice practice using both call manager and call manager express systems. We are currently seeking a qualified Cisco engineer with voice experience to assist with our voice practice growth. Candidates will be dedicated to providing on-going support and operations for LAN/WAN network and VoIP operations. The specialist will work with network support staff and participate directly in operating, maintaining, and deploying data communications infrastructure as needed and directed by communications support management. This specialist will support and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network communications components in support of data and converged communications. Communications circuits include Frame-relay, T-1 and fractional T-1 carriers, and, in some cases, DSL and Cable solutions.
Required skills:
At least two (2) years field experience with Cisco technologies
At least CCNP required, a CCIE candidate with voice experience would be preferred.
