 What is covered with CompUtopia's own line of CompU-Pro systems?
All Compu-Pros include a one-year, on-site warranty for parts and labor.
An upgrade to your coverage can be added - 2nd and 3rd year plans are available.

Can CompUtopia provide warranty service on most major brands of systems and peripherals?
CompUtopia's team of A+ and vendor certified technicians can provide both in-warranty and out-of-warranty repairs.
All warranty issued service is subject to the manufacturers conditions. Provisions of warranty vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
Some products may be covered for only 90 days, other products for a year or more.
The product may be covered for either carry-in or on-site service. If a product were only covered for carry-in service,
there would be a travel charge to perform the service on-site. Contact us today for more information

I recently purchased a notebook from a leading manufacturer. I am having a problem with the unit - is it possible for me to receive a replacement?
Most manufacturers' policies provide for a warranty repair.
However, if a product fails upon initial use, it may be possible to procure a replacement, depending on the manufacturer policy.

Can you please explain what is not included with most warranty coverage?
- Warranty does not cover data transfer on the replacement of an in-warranty hard drive.
- Warranty does not cover reloading of drivers, programs and/or operating systems.
It is the responsibility of the customer to have his system backed up.
- Warranty does not cover Virus scan and cleanup.
- Any Software related problems are not covered by your warranty and are billable.
- Physical damage to a part will not be covered by the manufacturer and would be subject to a charge for
the replacement part even thought the unit is still under warranty.
- CompUtopia does offer services such as:
- Data transfer from old systems to new
- Virus scans and disk cleanups to maximize the efficiency of your computer
